Screen Printing Workshop: One Page Wonder Artist Books

Saturday May 18th from 10:30am-1:30pm

Entry Level Class - No experience necessary however minors must have a guardian present.

In this 3 hour workshop, you'll learn the basics of screen printing by making an accordion-folded single-sheet artist's book.

Aimed at complete beginners or those looking to refresh their print skills, everyone will create a personalized artbook in a friendly, relaxed studio environment. There is something special about making a book with paper that you’ve printed yourself!

You'll learn the basics of screen printing and a simple approach to bookmaking using a single sheet of paper. Everyone will create their own screen with your own imagery using accessible techniques that can be easily replicated at home. We’ll be using both provided imagery, and imagery that you create using handmade stencils.

Everyone will walk away with a handmade book and a short stack of small notecards and envelopes to take home! You'll also receive two zines to help you replicate these processes at home. All materials are included.
